Client Overview

Haugen Gruppen Finland, part of an international food and beverage distribution network, approached us with a need for a brand film to showcase their presence and offerings in both the consumer and professional markets. This initiative aimed to increase brand awareness by putting a human face to their Finnish operations.

We collaborated closely with Ghocon, a communications and marketing agency, to ensure the script and overall messaging resonated with Haugen Gruppen’s audience. Ghocon, one of our long-term partners, offered essential expertise in script development. Their close cooperation with Haugen Gruppen provided us valuable insights into what kind of messaging resonates best in their market.

Project Goals

The main objective was to create a visually compelling brand film that would strengthen Haugen Gruppen’s presence in Finland. The video was designed to give the brand a human touch by featuring its own employees and telling their story authentically.

Production: The entire video was filmed in a single day, requiring precise planning and execution.

Post-Production: This included editing, voiceover recording, color grading, and sound design.

Time Constraints

Since the video featured Haugen Gruppen employees, it was crucial to minimize disruption to their schedules. We aimed to complete filming in a single day.

Unfamiliar Industry

Our expertise leans towards technology-focused projects, making this foray into the food, restaurant, and catering business a learning experience, especially in finding the right tone for the script.

Weather

During the production day, a thunderstorm forced us to reschedule on short notice. Interior shots were swapped with exterior shots to keep the shoot on track. A good reminder of the importance of always having a plan B at hand.

We also relied heavily on our internal resources to execute the field production. Our crew members took on roles outside of their usual responsibilities, gaining valuable experience in the process
